Cette exposition, je suis tombée par hasard sur l’annonce, et elle a immédiatement retenu mon attention….hâte de pouvoir y aller, à ne pas manquer, car elle sera rue de la République seulement du 18 au 22 décembre….je ne manquerai pas de vous le rappeler!
“Vanishing Points est un road movie mental : un univers parallèle proposé par Olivier Ratsi qui oscille entre architecture réelle et immatérielle.
Certains points de vues se réclament d’une vérité absolue, doit-on s’y fier? Pour figurer ce questionnement quotidien, Olivier Ratsi utilise, à travers un espace de 1500m2, deux principales figures esthétiques liées à notre perception de l’espace: la perspective – formalisée au Quattrocento – et l’anamorphose – dont on trouve les premières traces artistiques en Chine au cours de l’époque Ming (14e siècle). D’autres inspirations de l’histoire des arts viendront émailler ce voyage comme une évocation à Newton, et à travers ce rapport “culturel” à l’espace, nos sens seront mis à l’épreuve.”
